C O M M I S S I O N S

An abstract commission with Eric is an exciting and personal process, tailored to fit in a home or office space, infusing the client’s vision with Eric’s creativity. Brushwork, spatters, color choices and textures are incorporated with ideas and concepts developed through collaboration to create a one-of-a-kind, truly unique piece of art.

Typically, Eric begins the commission process by listening to the client's vision and ideas, reviewing pictures of the space the artwork will be displayed in or visit the location, if possible. Eric and the client can discuss sizing, colors and techniques as it relates to the space, and how they work in the painting. Also, he provides the opportunity to discuss framing options, if that’s a consideration, as well as answer any other questions a client may have.

SIZES & PRICES

Commission sizes can be customized to accommodate any space and vision. The table below lists some of the most common sizes. However, smaller or larger commissions can be created. Prices listed reflect a gallery wrapped (1.5”-2” deep) canvas with edges painted on all sides. If framing is a consideration, estimates can be provided based on framing choices. To start any commission project, a 50% deposit is required. The remaining balance is due after the painting is completed.
